7.5 Months Done, 2.5 To Go!

This third quarter became a meaningful learning experience as I gained knowledge and skills from different subjects. In Mathematics, I studied permutations and probability, which improved my logical thinking and problem-solving abilities. In Science, I learned about DNA, RNA, mutations, the reproductive system, and sexual reproduction, helping me understand how life works at the cellular and biological levels. I also became more aware of social issues through lessons on violence against women and their children and the Republic Acts that protect women. In Basic Electronics, I explored how capacitors and inductors function in series and parallel circuits. In MAPEH, I learned about hip-hop and its cultural importance. In ESP, I developed a deeper understanding of nationalism, patriotism, and environmental care. Research introduced me to sampling techniques and hypothesis testing, while English helped me understand literary criticism. In ICT, I learned basic coding, which strengthened my digital and technical skills.

Along with these learnings, I faced several challenges during the quarter. Some lessons in Math and Science were difficult to grasp at first because they involved complex ideas and calculations. Coding in ICT was also challenging since it required strong logical thinking and careful attention to detail. Time management became a struggle as many subjects had projects, research tasks, and performance activities scheduled close together. There were moments when I felt stressed and overwhelmed, especially when multiple deadlines happened at the same time.

To overcome these challenges, I worked on improving my time management and setting priorities. I reviewed my lessons, asked questions during class discussions, and searched for extra explanations through books and reliable online sources. I practiced solving Math problems and repeatedly studied Science topics to strengthen my understanding. In ICT, I learned through trial and error and asked help from my classmates and teacher when needed. Moving forward, I plan to improve my study habits, participate more actively in class, and continue developing my skills in research, coding, and critical thinking. Most importantly, I will apply the values I learned in ESP by being responsible, socially aware, and respectful as a student and as a member of society.
