A Child's Safety, Is the Future's Safety

 The 2025 National Children's Month theme calls to help end OSAEC and CSAEM. It draws attention to rising online risks that target children in social networks, chat apps, and gaming platforms. These threats harm the safety and dignity of the children. They disrupt healthy development and reduce trust in digital environments. The theme highlights the need for stronger awareness and firm action from families, schools, and communities.



Online exploitation damages emotional stability and growth. People use misleading tactics that pressure children into unsafe interactions. These acts produce long term effects on human well being. Because digital platforms spread fast, prevention requires consistent monitoring and guidance. This includes responsible device use, early detection of suspicious behavior, and clear reporting channels that respond without delay.

The government works on tougher laws and more coordinated action. Agencies track digital activity linked to exploitation and respond through trained cyber detection. Support programs guide survivors, protect their rights, and help them recover. Schools and local councils receive tools for awareness campaigns and safety training. These efforts, paired with active involvement from their family, and peers, help protect children and defend their rights to a safer, respectful, and a secure and stable future.

 As part of our school's Nutrition Month celebration, I had the chance to participate in exciting activities that promoted healthy eating habits and nutrition awareness. One of the key highlights of the celebration was the food fest, where I got to indulge in a variety of nutritious dishes prepared by our classmates. I also cheered for my classmates during the nutri-jingle event, showing their creativity and dedication for promoting healthy eating habits through music and dance. Their energetic performance were truly fun, and I enjoyed every moment of it. Through these activities, I learned the importance of nutrition healthy eating habits in our daily lives. I realized that small changes in our diet and lifestyle can make a significant change on our health and well-being. I'm grateful for the experience and look forward to applying the lessons I've learned to make healthy choices throughout my life.
